About the Organisation
The Yura Yungi Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (YYMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) located in Halls Creek, WA.
YYMS's functions include providing comprehensive primary health care services to the Aboriginal populations and others in and around Halls Creek. The service provides primary health care clinical services and population health programs in Halls Creek and at the outlying Ringer's Soak community.
About the Opportunity
YYMS now has an opportunity for Family Domestic & Sexual Violence (FDSV) Manager o join their multidisciplinary team on a full-time basis. This role is being offered on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for providing supervision and leadership to the domestic violence program staff
Some of your other key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Identify organisations and individuals to participate in community education and healing activities to reduce the impact of family and domestic violence
- Provide written program status reports to the CEO where necessary or required
- Role model respectful and professional behaviour within the work environment at all times including displaying leadership, initiative, openness, honesty, genuineness and transparency
- Administer the FDSV referral processes ensuring that referrals meet guideline standards and contain all appropriate information to support decision making
- Develop and review protocols or formal agreements with key stakeholders, sharing of information, confidentiality of agreements, decision making processes and conflict resolution
- Promote a culture of collective learning and collaborative work practice, including respectful and positive communication within the team/organisation
As this role is based in a remote Aboriginal community, as such, you will need to have previous experience working with Aboriginal clients and/or a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture.

About the Benefits
You will be rewarded with a highly attractive base salary of $90,000 - $135,000 (depending on experience) per annum pro rata plus superannuation and a further host of benefits, including:
- 5 weeks annual leave;
- Salary packaging up to $31,177 annually
- Work hours are from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a qualifications in social work/ or a minimum of Certificate 4 in Management and demonstrated ability to positively interact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to achieve community-desired outcomes.
